Energy Renewal Concept: Dried Out Sewage To Be Used As Fuel
Hello All,
This concept may leave you with the suspicion that I slipped and smacked my head and lost my senses. But before you come to such a judgment allow me to explain this in a summary statement.
In third world countries including in rural China they dry out the livestock fecal matter to be used as a substitute of log burning. Which means they do not need to cut down their forests that puts them at jeopardy of an eventual flood. Haiti a couple of years ago in a Hurricane lost like 10,000 souls due to wiping out their forests for cooking fuel. The torrent floods that the down pouring of that hurricane drowned or buried them deeply in mud.
Manure can be processed to be dried out and used as a furnace fuel instead of using wood or coal. Municipal sewage plants instead of processing the sewage and than flushing it into the sea or local waterways. Which still is poisoning those aquatic eco-systems that will not be sustainable for many decades to come.
Be it sewage generated by people or livestock this rich in nutrients discharge. Can be harnessed and used as a "Green" source of renewal energy. Much like many present day municipal land fills are creating methane for local city usage.
This is a win / win solution without doing any further damage to the environment. Be it from wood or coal burning, including discharging additional sewage waste into our waterways.

Food Item Menu Concept: Chicken Fast Food Restaurants Having Corn Dogs & Hot Dogs
Hello All,
Right now many fast food restaurants specializing in chicken variety as menu items are always looking for more added appeal for their customers. What if a chain of fast food restaurants perhaps like: KFC or Popeyes began offering chicken menu items such as: corn dogs and hot dogs.
In the US south it is customary that hot dogs get garnished with "cole slaw" as an added topping. KFC has a very tasty cole slaw offering as is and a chicken hot dog goes right along with their menu. Especially for a "Kids Menu" item this has further appeal since it isn't as messy as eating fried chicken. The batter of the corn for the corn dog can have one of KFC's specially offered spices as an added incentive.
These two menu items are a very value added additions to any fast food chain of chicken only menu item restaurants.

Beverage Concept: Coca Cola Coconut Flavored Drink
Hi All,
This flash of an idea came to me when I was listening to "Very Best of Harry Belafonte's" by RCA records on CD. One of his songs is titled "Coconut Woman". My creative mind got ahold of that and this is what popped forth.
What if Coca Cola (Coke brand) or some other cola soda pop company created a coconut flavored beverage. Doing so they can license Harry Belafonte's song "Coconut Woman" as its marketing blitz. Since many beverages nowadays go for the gimmick of injecting nutrients into their drinks to give them an added healthy boost. They can supplement the drink with fortified "Iron" just like in the Coconut Woman song.

This once noticed is a no-brainer for a Calypso like marketing commerical for a cola company to launch.

Kitchen Concept: Latex Glove Manual Jar / Bottle Cap Opener
Hi All,
This concept is one of those "Aha!" moments for its simplicity sake. Picture a latex glove that is thicker than the typical surgical latex hospital gloves. More so like a rubberized / latex material for hands of various adult sizes. The palm area of this manual jar / bottle cap opener glove has a ribbed gripping surface.
So instead of hurrying off to get a wet paper towel, or a butter knife to depressurize the jar lid. Let alone to use one of those expensive electric jar openers. That are no good when the power is out. For which this jar / bottle cap opener glove can be used in like a disaster relief kit for households.
One just puts on this latex like glove and voila one is able to grip and open those pesky jars and bottles. Of course the kitchen jar / bottle opener glove can be offered in right or left hand models. Including various appealing designs besides a generic white colored glove.

This concept of mine is from my library of older concepts in reams of note pads. The concept for today applies itself to those with legal restraining orders against them. Where legally they are prohibited from going into the proximity of the person who feels victimized. Be it a well-documented case of domestic violence, stalkers, or other cases of potential violence.
We all have been to a restaurant where often we're told that the waiting time is so and so minutes. Then we're handed a wafer like electronic like a coaster that vibrates and lights up when our turn is up to be seated. Now taking inspiration from these wafer electronic alerts in the restaurant industry. We morph that with an electronic anklet similar to what those who are under "house arrest" wear. But in this case, both the issuer and recipient of the restraining order are required to wear this electronic anklet bracelet.
So if a predator stalker, boyfriend or husband is closing in on the yardage restriction of proximity of a restraining order in effect. Then as they get closer the monitoring agency will start to receive color coded signal alerts from what the US government uses for the national "Terror Alert". IE green (low), blue (guarded), yellow (elevated), orange (high), red (severe). Both parties of the issuer and recipient of the restraining order wearing the anklets will start to receive alerts at the yellow (elevated) level. For example at the yellow status alert, the anklets will begin to create a benign light show on the electronic anklet. At orange (high) alert the anklet will go beserk in the light-show effect. At red (severe) alert the proximity anklet will be in full alert mode with the lights and vibrations.
At the monitoring agency, they'll receive their first alerts during the yellow (elevated) stage. If it continues to orange (high) alert than the police squad car is dispatched immediately to track down the aggressor. At red (severe) alert it is treated as a crime in progress with all appropriate agencies involved. Be it rape crisis agencies, or for battered woman, or family crisis to be ready to document the incident and arrest the aggressor.
The electronic anklet could also be developed as a wrist watch type of device. Of course, it couldn't be removed just like those under house arrest. So the electronic alert anklet or bracelet is for short to mid-term usage only. Since a long term use would be very obtrusive for both parties and/or have psychological impacts. That is until a surgical implant is developed for under the skin for a similar alerting device with restraining orders.

Cable Or Satellite TV Service Plan Concept: TV With No More Advertising

Right now American consumers if not other's in Europe or elsewhere have access to DVR (TiVo like) or digital video recorder technology. Where they just fast forward enmasse past unwelcomed and unsoliticited television advertising that keep the cable channels broadcasting. Before VOD (Video on Demand) technology begins to roll-out across our nation again with limited or zero advertising. There is another unimplemented alternative for cable and satellite TV service providers to pursue.
That is a premium service for subscribers to pay a monthly fee above what they pay already on their TV bills. Where TV ad spots would exist cable (or satellite) TV subscribers would manually choose a music channel to play during a program intermission for advertising. For example Comcast my local cable TV provider offers "Music Choice" to it's digital cable subscribers. Which is a slew of music genre channels with no advertising what so ever. Now consider this premium service where customers can pay upwards to $10 dollars US a month to block out intrusive TV advertising. That the cable and network channels have to broadcast otherwise they go off the air. In the meanwhile until Cable and Network television find another revenue model to keep broadcasting.
Cable and Satellite subscribers can block out akin to a parental lock all TV ad spots. Where that filler TV time plays a commercial free music channel of the choice of the customer. Or it can play a news channel like CNN or Headline news without including those prospective channels advertising. Akin to having 24/7 news channels on a content cache of programming omitting their advertising. So whilst the TV viewer with this service plan enters an ad spot period they can watch news or what have you during this break period.

Prediction / Commentary On US Outsourcing & Offshoring Of Jobs.
Hello All,
For one I enjoy the news from CNN "Lou Dobbs" program. With that Lou Dobbs aggressive stance albeit insensitive at times is part of what I consider an example of the "fourth estate" of investigative journalism vital to any democracy as in an informed citizenry.
I hardly have in the past of this blog site have made commentary statements. Although I may have made a couple predictions here and there I believe. This post is amongest those on the topic of US jobs if not soon to be: European, Canadian, & Austalian labor markets to follow. Being offshore where on a wholesale basis US based multi-national companies go offshore. And/or send middle class jobs abroad to the eventual point that the US economy will begin hemorrhaging lacking a middle class.
To use a current analogy that Lou Dobbs is very adamant against "Illegal Aliens" versus legal immigrants. Where Mexico last year received worker remittances totally around 16 billion dollars US. Exceeding the combined incomes of Mexico's petroleum industry on an annual basis. Expect that within a decade when outsourcing and offshoring becomes the standard norm in the USA. That US workers will join the leagues of developing nations sending workers overseas like they do in Asia and the Middle East. But in this case US overseas workers will be remitting their incomes to their US based families. Much like many illegal immigrants do today in the US with my example above with Mexico.
There is so much exploitation of either side of the fence on the issues with capitalism world wide. That the US may need to develop a 21st Century version of "Affirmative Action" for the US worker. Otherwise due to economic discrimation more US firms and jobs will continue to be sent overseas. Causing this nation to lose super power status and return to Industrial Nation status in the global community of nations.
However I clearly understand where thousands of years ago historically where Chinese and Indian dominance as civilizations in the ancient world occurred. Like a pendulum on the historical scale they are reverting back to such a super power status. This can not be stopped nor should it be stopped for the well being of the world and the citizens of those nations. However it shouldn't be a "Win / Lose" scenario for us either to the point our nation if not the Western Hemisphere goes down the tubes in the process. Of course greed, corruption, power, and influence may be "some" of the motivators for this current global paradigm shift of super power status. As it always has occurred through out history the just will benefit in the end. While the injust benefit during the short to mid-term periods of growth.
