America's Proverty Prediction / Rant / Concept: Non-Profit Commune Homes

Hello All,

How uneasy it must feel that America is losing it's super power status before our very eyes. Capitalists without a moral framework have sold-out America chasing their profits without thinking through the long-term consequences. Our government isn't in a better situation neither, their stance is to appease those in power outside of government. And that does not mean "We The People", that traditional ethos has been compromised for lower ideals.

With that political outrage put aside, where through out the 20th century the ideals and corporations that kept America proud are ebbing away. This new century is returning gradually the super power status to the old Far East. Where once they had that mantle thousands of years ago and it is returning to them before our eyes.

America for its part will slip into a industrial Power mode like many Western European nations in the next generation of twenty to twenty five years from now. America has two roads it can take, one of greater policy reform that is of a morale foundation such as universal healthcare. Or it can go further headlong into corporate power capitalism where only growth and profit is sacred.

If the latter is chosen where government becomes vunerable due to it's revenue coffers from taxes and other capital funds run dry. Expect to see multi-national corporations to seize greater power in US government. Since of their potential to unify numerous corporations into a hybrid union with government. Expect a United Nations model for the most powerful multi-national corporations where democracy will be least on their collective minds. Corporate Imperialism will be on the rise during those potential darker days of America. Since in their day a generation ago America of "We The People" was soldout by the minority power brokers.

The American poverty class will replace the former majority middle class. Where 10% of the wealthiest in America which may very well come from abroad. Will be the current puppet master of this hybrid Imperial corporate government model in America.

Any remaining middle class will emmigrat and leave their homeland of America. Where Asia & Australia will mostly will be the new countries to receive the huddled masses that are improvished economically. They will no longer flock to America nor to Europe, since the wealth of these nation States has long since ebbed away.

Where during the days of the late 20th century and early 21th century that the nuclear family had become nomadic. Due to enmasse poverty expect the nuclear family, including extended family proximity to return akin to America's 19th century tendencies.

To economically survive families and selective groups may opt for the "Commune Home" non-profit entity model. Where as a non-profit or not for profit corporate entity model families and selective groups will pool their financial resources into a commune living environment. Sorta like those on University campuses at a fraternity or sorority order.

Such "Commune Homes" will have certain protections and requirements so as to maintain a proper non-profit commune living. The requirements may be to retain an accountant, estate lawyer, or some other financial planner to keep the collective incomes coming and keep the commune solvent. The protections could be forms of insurance due to fraud, internal theft and the like of the communes property and liquid incomes.

Back to present day we're having in America, Europe and Japan children in their late 20's returning home due to financial hardship. The traditional jobs and college educated days are defunct due to cheap labor overseas. The service and hospitality industries are the ones burgeoning today since such jobs can not be off-shored. (unless foreign cheaper labor under contract is brought in to fill them, much like on cruise ships)

Such boomer rang kids will come full circle where parents themselves can not afford to retire. Where teenage type jobs of a decade or so ago will go more to senior citizens that do not retire. Job displacement of demographics of age groups will only expand due to a shrinking middle class in America. America if it continues like this for another generation will have a seritude work force. Where unlike Americans traveling abroad due to a strong dollar in foreign countries during the late 20th century and early 21th century. The reverse will occur foreigners with strong currencies will travel to America for a cheap traveling abroad for their interests.

These will be the consequences of America being sold-out by the minority power brokers in our present US government that get their kick backs from corporations.

Lending Library Concept: Public Library of Tomorrow

Hi All,

Borrowing heavily from the last concept franchise business model below on digital media content. Imagine a public library of tomorrow where no books, music tapes, or VHS / DVD movies can be lent out. Instead much like the current mp3 subscription music sites the content is rented and can not be owned. This public library allows citizens with a smart library member card to download content to a flash media disc.

The digital content on this flash media times out where after a set date upon next usage the content becomes unreadable or deletes itself. Public library members can still view the full content at viewing tables that are tied into the local data center of the library. All content to their datacenter gets updated daily, be it from worldwide newspapers or other forms of content.

So instead of a present day public library seeking certain book bound volume sets. Or other prestigious annually updated journals, newsletters, magazines, catalogs, etc... All of this can be available in digital form, especially for rural community public libraries.

As some of you may know that I'm inclined into enterprising business models. Including those that are unique and lucrative in design and opportunity. With that said the: book store, music record store, and video store of tomorrow can be available today.

What's stopping us is an individual(s) with capital, talent, and vision to see this opportunity through to finality. Picture a small store outlet with a kiosk type of data center that could have streamed all digital content of print, music, videos. Where like a vending machine can burn a customer copy of the digital content selected by the consumer. The customer can receive the content on various sizes of Flash media discs or present day DVD burnable discs. Customers can be charged per selection or memory size of the download they had purchased.

Aside from this vending machine kiosk, there can be three oval viewing tables at such a franchise store outlet. One oval table can be for print media viewing, another oval table for music listening, and the third table for video viewing of potential content to be purchased. When the oval tables aren't used for viewing digital media content they can be rented out for Internet cafe usage. As a form of secondary residual income to the franchise store outlet.

To avoid potential customers just sitting at the oval table sucking up viewing time. Consumers are only allotted to getting a "sneak preview" of the digital media content. So if interested they can purchase the whole content for later consumption.

The deal for the main franchise owners is to get all the licensing rights out of the way. Much like Apple has done at I-Tunes for music and such digital media. There would need to be book publishers signed up, record labels, and movie studios, if not game publishers likewise.

MMO Game Theme Concept: A MMORPG On GhostBusters!

The online massively multiplayer genre of games have experienced to date genres in mostly fantasy and science fiction. With no MMO genres of horror, historical, or comedy (unless you count Disney's Toon Town) as one would find in single player game titles.

We are awash in numerous entertainment brands that are ripe for cross-over into an MMO game title. However with that noted, launching an MMO game isn't for the faint of heart or cheap on funding neither.

With that said how many of you would enjoy a MMO game title based on a comedy genre?

Well how about "GhostBusters"?

Just picture a MMO game title where the hordes of ghosts return to Gotham City (New York City). Where our former intrepid hero's from the original two films have sold off their franchise business. The ghosts and demons seem to settle down, then all of a sudden another biblical climax stirs in Gotham.

This time you the gamer enlist into one of these numerous franchise businesses to hunt or perhaps be hunted by the ghosts and demons of lore using New York City as a portal entrance into our world. The ghosts & demons could be strictly Npc's (non player characters), although to spice things up perhaps randomly selected ghost hunters could become ghosts themselves as a player character race.

However many elements of comedy need to be infused into such an adventure / action MMO game title. Perhaps the hunting tactics of the ghostbusters can use old Baldville like hijinks to cajorole the ghosts into the traps. The questing system can include hilarious dialogue to continue to set the theme of a comedy MMO. Including numerous zany and whacky sound effects to prepare the gamer into such a crazy world.

Of course npc's modeled after the films hero's can be created. Where their voices from the films or additional voice sessions can be captured for this MMO game title.

Subscription Software Concept: Online Games Model

Currently the retail model for the majority of online games is one buys a boxed packaged game software. And then opens an account with the game publisher for that particular MMO game with a fee based subscription. However lately there has been more direct downloads to consumers of these MMO games. Skipping entirely the costly wholesale to retail store distribution and marketing line of software games. Each step of that distribution line more profits (revenues) get diverted from the game developer and publisher.

What if instead of either purchasing an MMO game title in a retail store. By continuing this trend of direct downloads from the game publisher for a subscription to the MMO. But instead of charging for the entire game upfront which often includes a free month of game play. Give the consumer the option to purchase the game via "Installments". So as with each month they pay their subscriber dues, another $5 dollars is added to their fee. This can be repeated each month or quarterly basis until the game is fully paid off.

Of course if a customer under this game payment and monthly subscriber model cancels his/her game account. They would fully owe any remaining monies that are unpaid in full for the game software. This may also include a "penalty fee" as well if a game publisher wants to jab a consumer as well.

So whether a MMO game subscriber pays monthly or quarterly (yearly subscribers don't count, unless you give them the game outright for free for a yearly fully paid up front subscription) the game publisher can expect an additional residual revenue stream of income. If choosing this payment model for an MMO game account subscriber.
