I welcome you to another iteration of the "Jewels of Truth" series for this month of October. This entry the topics will be on: Mentors, Hope, and Peace.

For those preparing here in the States for their "Halloween" festivities. May you to do safely and especially have a ghoulish good time.

911) Not all teachers are mentors. Mentors are teachers that excel by going the extra mile with their pupil. That focus not on there weaknesses or their faults. But surmount them by looking beyond to the whole individual. Where the pupil will eventually rise to the occasion and become a sublime teacher of his own to the mentor.

Teaching not the lesson plans, but teaching the mentor who they are as a person. Mentors seek to bring balance within the environment of their knowledge base they are instilling into the student. Mentors teach by example and practice in innovative ways that address the core needs of their students. A good student must be receptive and of a reasonable temperament to be allowed to be guided in many different types of instructions.

Teachers only teach the study material at hand making sure of student comprehension. Mentors truly outshine such basic tenets of learning. Mentors get to remold their pupils by an honorable craft that yields hopefully a better individual for society as a whole. ---Ivan Pozo-Illas / Atrayo.


912) What is Hope?

Hope is based on truth, faith, and love for a better event or circumstance to appear. It is based on a truth for the sake of a purity of a true expression in time. It is based on faith so as to have a positive expectation in one's growth. So as to stir within a sacred intention by an outlook that will nourish the soul and not discourage it. It is based on an unconditional Love for the beauty of such an inspired moment that can only come forth by the "Will of God(dess)".

What to "Hope" for is up to the individual in need. However make sure that your hope is on a true foundation based on a faith in God(dess). Not a hope that is based on vanity nor ego, which will only lead your expectations astray. Amen. ---Ivan Pozo-Illas / Atrayo.


913) Only those that make "Peace" shall have peace of mind. For in the creating of peace there is a solace of the heart and mind that surrenders logic for calm. A calm that only those who know how to be still within their mind can be open to many wondrous things. Peace for its own sake is empty. Peace when it is shared is truly lasting and harmonious.
